‘Wobbly Dog’ is a production company specialising in high calibre, small cast music theatre.
It was set up and is managed by two performers, Barry Clark and Janet Cowley. We have a pedigree of work with major UK companies including D’Oyly Carte Opera, Sadler’s Wells Opera, Scottish Opera, Opera North, Carl Rosa Opera and both the original West End and Manchester casts of ‘The Phantom of the Opera’.
We are passionate about our main focus – the essential power of words and music, and aim to provide an engaging experience for our audience.
Using only first-class artists with whom we work regularly, we produce a variety of shows, spiced with humour and pathos.
In 2011, the year in which we celebrate the centenary of the death of W S Gilbert, we have four shows in our repertoire with a Gilbert and Sullivan connection.
In addition, our cabaret, ‘Late Love’ continues to be a popular and well-received show which can be adapted for theatre, concert-hall or corporate event.
